Not only is this the best reproduction on the market, it is made from the highest grade materials available. You will fall in love with the genuine rubber grip, that is correctly sized to match the original wheel. See the descriptions that follow, and learn about the other fine details included in this new product introduction.
The center hub has the correct rounded shoulder and correct dimensions to match the original design. The spokes are mitered into the hub, not bent, to provide the correct dish to the steering wheel profile. The spokes are pinned to the hub to prevent loosening, and there are no grinding marks.
The mounting hole has the correct taper to accurately fit the steering shaft. Roll your mouse over the images to see the reverse side with another example of the mitered spokes. You may also notice the genuine styled finger grips.
This steering wheel has the most comfortable no slip grip, without the sharp edges found on other wheels with the oversized plastic grip.
This Replacement Steering Wheel is 15-3/4" outside diameter. Its keyed hub fits the 13/16" steering shaft of the John Deere models B (sn#96,000-230,043) 1941-1947. Replaces John Deere Parts AB218R.
