No longer available from John Deere, this product is one of the crown jewels of Davenport Tractor collection. Our felt retainer fits the John Deere AR-AO tractor (sn#250,000 - end). Long sought after by tractor restoration buffs, our new felt retainers will add a very "clean" looking finish to your restoration. It has been very difficult in the past to remove the old steel retainer without distorting or destroying it. Our retainers offer a solution to your needs. Replaces John Deere part B1281R.
A complete replacement would include 2 retainers and 2 felts.
